You will find us at 29c High Street, Buxton, SK17 6HA, right between Lounge 41 hairdressers and corner cupboard. Look out for the light green door - head through it, go up the first flight of stairs, then continue up to the third floor where you will find your peaceful salon space waiting for you.
About Us
I’ve been in the industry since 2017, and from the beginning I knew I loved helping people feel calm, cared for and confident. I realised traditional salon environments often didn’t feel right for me. With my diagnosed ADHD, I found many salons overstimulating: loud, rushed, busy, cluttered. It was a sensory overload, and I knew I couldn’t be the only person who felt this way.
That’s why I created The Astral Lounge - a salon built with comfort, calm and inclusivity at the core. A space where people of all sensory profiles, neurotypes and comfort levels can relax. No conveyor-belt service. No pressure to chat if you don’t want to. No judgement.
Just thoughtful, personalised treatments in a quieter, slower, more intentional environment.
I’ve spent years developing an approach that blends high quality treatments with sensory awareness and emotional safety.

I’ve been working in the beauty industry since 2017, and after years of navigating busy, loud salon environments that felt overwhelming, especially with my ADHD, I knew there had to be a calmer, more considered way to experience beauty.
That’s how The Astral Lounge was born: a space designed to feel grounded, gentle, and sensory-aware.
I specialise in personalised treatments that focus on comfort, connection, and quality.
