Welcome to the Astral Lounge, your calm, inclusive beauty space tucked away in the heart of Buxton, Derbyshire.

You will find us at 29c High Street, Buxton, SK17 6HA, right between Lounge 41 hairdressers and corner cupboard.

Look out for the light green door - head through it, go up the first flight of stairs, then continue up to the third floor where you will find your peaceful salon space waiting for you.

Transport & Parking

  • • Street-parking is available on High Street and adjacent streets in the town centre area (please check local signage on arrival).

    • Free parking directly outside opposite the salon (subject to local restrictions—please check on arrival).

    • Several pay-and-display car parks are close by and are very convenient:

    • Market Street Car Park (5 S Mews, SK17 6GE)

    • Market Place Car Park (by Town Hall, SK17 6EB)

    • The Slopes Car Park (next to Town Hall, SK17 6DZ)

    • Pavilion Gardens Car Park (St John’s Road, SK17 9AR)

    • Parking Payments if applicable : All council-run car parks accept coins (5p–£2) but do not give change; card payments accepted at machines; you can also pay via the “PayByPhone” app in Buxton.

    • Please check signage for any market restrictions, event closures, or residents-only zones (especially Market Place on Tuesdays/Saturdays).

  • • The town of Buxton is served by numerous bus routes that stop very close to the salon on or near High Street / Market Place.

    • The stop “High Street / Market Place” is within a short 2-5 minute walk of our door.

    • The main bus station at Market Place is only a short walk from the salon.

  • The nearest station is Buxton Railway Station (Station Road, Buxton SK17 6AQ).

    • It’s approximately a 4-minute walk from the station into Buxton town centre.

    • From the station to our salon at 29 High Street, Buxton SK17 6HA, you will simply leave the station, head into the town centre, and arrive in just about 5 minutes.

    • The station is the terminus of the Buxton line, making it convenient for visitors arriving by train.

    • Facilities: There are parking spaces at the station.
